⚠️ Amar Bidhayak is developed by an authorized third-party developer. This app is not directly operated by a government entity. Welfare scheme information is sourced from official government portals including wb.gov.in and india.gov.in.

• Google Sign-In users: We collect your name, email address, and profile photo provided by your Google account.
• Anonymous users: We do not collect any personal information. No name, email, or phone number is stored.
• All users: When you submit a complaint, we store the complaint details you provide (category, description, location if shared, and optional phone number and name).
• Device notification token: We store a device identifier to send you notifications about your complaints. This is a technical identifier only and does not reveal your personal identity.
• Crash logs: We collect crash reports automatically to improve app stability. These contain no personal information.

Information We Do NOT Collect

• Your contacts or call logs
• Your SMS messages
• Your financial information
• Your location (unless you choose to share it while submitting a complaint)
• Any data from other apps on your device

How We Use Your Information

• To register and manage your complaints
• To send you updates about your complaint status
• To display welfare schemes you may be eligible for
• To send important announcements from the constituency office
• To improve app performance and fix crashes

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on cloud servers located in India (Firebase/Google Cloud). We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. All data is encrypted in transit.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information to any third party. Your complaint details are shared only with authorized constituency office staff for the purpose of resolving your complaint.

Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in West Bengal, India.

Your Rights and Choices

• You may use the app anonymously without providing any personal information.
• You may delete your account at any time from the Settings section. Upon deletion, your personal information is removed.
• You may choose not to share your location when submitting a complaint.
• You may choose not to provide your phone number or name when submitting a complaint.

Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your data by deleting your account from the app Settings section. Upon account deletion, all your personal information including name, email and complaint history associated with your account will be permanently removed. Children's Privacy

This application is intended for citizens aged 18 years and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you are under 18, please do not use this application.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app.
